Provide College Scholarships and Grants

THE ACTIVITIES INCLUDE RAISING FUNDS BY SOLICITING CONTRIBUTIONS FROM RESIDENTS AT COOPERATIVE, INC. (), AND IN THE VICINITY OF . APPLICATIONS FOR SCHOLARSHIPS OR GRANTS ARE INVITED FROM EMPLOYEES OF AND THEIR CHILDREN. A SELECTION COMMITTEE CONSISTING OF AT LEAST THREE PERSONS APPOINTED BY THE LEEF DIRECTORS THEN EVALUATE THE APPLICATIONS AND MAKES THE SCHOLARSHIP GRANTS TO THE APPLICANTS IT FINDS BEST QUALIFIED FROM FUNDS MADE AVAILABLE FOR THAT PURPOSE. MEMBERS OF THE SELECTION COMMITTEE MUST BE INDEPENDENT OF AND LEEF, HAVE KNOWLEDGE AND/OR EXPERIENCE IN THE FIELD, AND BE GUIDED ONLY BY OBJECTIVE CRITERIA. GRANTS MAY NOT BE MADE TO BENEFIT , SUCH AS FOR RECRUITMENT OF NEW EMPLOYEES, RETENTION OF EXISTING EMPLOYEES OR TO COMPENSATE OR REWARD EMPLOYEES. ACTIVITIES ARE CONDUCTED AT AND ITS VICINITY AND THERE MAY BE PERIODIC DRIVES AND APPLICATION PERIODS DESIGNATED IN EACH CALENDAR YEAR.

The does two things: award the $4,000 scholarships to students who are attending college and award grants to fund projects managed by High and Middle School teachers for the benefit of students. These grants are to fund projects that normally would not be funded through annual school budgets.

TO PROVIDE FOR FUNDING FOR YOUNG INDIVIDUALS WHO ATTEND CRANSTON HIGH SCHOOLS AND STATE UNIVERSITIES.

Foundation plan to raise funds through various community events. Foundation plans to provide funds to Individuals through form of Scholarships, Local Municipalities or Organizations and Cancer Research Centers.

Charitable Services, providing fundraising activities, funding scholarships, and/or financial assistance for students who perform acts of kindness.

Trust created to provide academic scholarships to students at School, located in , RI, who exemplify good citizenship and academic standards in college course Junior (11th grade) English.
